The Crow review by: Sue Blair, 1995 --- A decent film for the genre. I liked the creepy, dark feel to the film and the soundtrack is swell. Brandon Lee looks like a lean, mean Robert Smith (The Cure). The best part of the film are the views through the eyes of the bird. Things that could have made this film better: more karate and more allusion to the fact that Lee is not invincible, i.e., his power is tied to the bird. Alluding to this earlier in the film would've given the fight scenes a greater sense of tension (maybe the bird could have been blown off its course and flown into a building or a fire and it could be tied in with Lee being in pain or incapacitated for awhile).
